There are two ways to dispose of "large" items depending on what they are:
A City Appliance Sticker is to be used when disposing of the following items: Washers, dryers, water heaters, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers and stoves (All refrigerator and freezer doors must be removed), microwave ovens, air conditioners, humidifiers/dehumidifiers, garbage disposals, trash compactors, and furnaces.
A City Bulk Sticker is to be used when disposing of the following items:
- Furniture: Loveseat, Couch, Recliner, Desk, Buffet, Hutch, Dresser, Bedframe, Wall Unit, Stereo Cabinet
- Household Items: Television Bathtub, Toilet, Window Awning, Sink, Mattress, Boxspring, Garage Door, Sliding Door, Glass or Wood Door
- Miscellaneous: Auto Parts, Rain Gutter, Swing Set, Piano, Lawnmower, Wood, Camper Top, Engine Block, Auto Fender, Windshield, Roll of Carpet (4' long)
What is the cost to me?
City Appliance Stickers can be purchased for $12.50.
City Bulk Stickers can be purchased for $7.50
On what day will my appliance/bulk be collected?
Collection will happen on the same day as normal refuse collection for your area. To determine your collection day, check out our refuse collection calendar. All materials must be placed at your refuse collection point by 7:00 a.m.
Where can I get a City Appliance Sticker or Bulk Sticker?
Fire stations, City Treasurer's Office, Supermarkets, and Neighborhood Stores.
