City Receives Award from Michigan Digital Government Summit for Best Application Serving the Public

Grand Rapids' Hot Spots Cool City initiative has been selected as the winner of Michigan Digital Government Excellence in Technology Award for Best Application Serving the Public.

Former City of Grand Rapids Information Technology Director Tom McQuillan accepted the award from State of Michigan Chief Information Officer, Teri Takai and Jack Mortimer, National Coverence Director, Government Technology Magazine, at the Michigan Digital Government Summit in Lansing, Michigan on October 12.

We are especially proud of participating network providers and of our partners in the project. We could not have done it without them!
